Content

  • What is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning?
  • Where do we stand today, what is the research horizon?
  • What is needed to work with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, what do we need to do as an organization and what competences are needed?
  • Unfair AI? On bias, accountability and transparency
  • Transparency, do we understand what the algorithms do?
  • What can we expect in the coming 10 years?

With direct access to AI/ML researchers, lecturers and practitioners from Lund University combined with the vital insights provided by The ESS — you now have the great opportunity to join an introduction and dialog that has been specifically designed for managers or other of similar professional role, in regard to this field. Whether completely, partly or expected to be involved with questions regarding AI and ML in the future, this course is for you! To name a few, you will gain a research based understanding of the opportunities and challenges of AI and ML, tips on problem solving approaches for companies and where to start as a manager in preparing for the future and you will be presented cutting-edge knowledge directly from the AI/ML heart of Lund University!

Demands for acquiring knowledge on this topic are becoming evidently high. So is also the speed with which said knowledge must be attained by managers should they want to follow the ever-changing market and secure competitive advantage. Although knowledge can be found on every nook and cranny of the digital world, it may be difficult for managers in such a high speed environment to decode minimum viable knowledge and find a platform through which they can start a dialogue with researchers in the field and gain insight on where truly to make changes in their companies to set themselves, their workers and our nation up for success in the future!
