Abstract: Human ability to pay attention is central to almost everything that has to do with cognition and thinking. Attention is the way into the mind, but also shows where you are heading and what you are interested in. An important aspect is also the ability to close out and limit impressions. Creating artificial attention is complicated. During an AI Lund Lunch seminar on September 2, Christian Balkenius elaborates on the concept of attention and discusses strategies for gaining artificial attention as one of many components of AI.
